There were many fantastic layouts submitted for our first Mystical Creatures Competition – The Dragon Challenge… it was so hard picking a winner….lucky for us forum members helped by adding their votes to the count. Here at Mystical Scrapbooks we love seeing people use there imagination and we love to inspire you to create your best work. We hope to challenge you with our competition! We will provide the inspirations and criteria and you provide the creations

Starting date is 1st March 2012 ~ but you have until Midnight on the 15th March to sign up (this is the date when the first challenge is due in the gallery).
Using our Mystical Theme each fortnight a new challenge will be posted. There are 6 challenge….( and maybe a surprise challenge or two along the way)

The first challenge has been posted and it is proving to be a fierce inspiration creature….it is the Dragon.

March Stash Busting Cybercrop

Join us this for some fun, games and challenges at our

March Stash Busting Cybercrop.

The challenges and chatting start on Friday the 2nd March but you have until midnight on the following Friday (9th March) to upload your entries into the appropriate folders in the gallery – ALL ENTRIES MUST BE NEWAND CREATED FOR OUR CHALLENGES TO QUALIFY FOR A PRIZE.

The prize for each of the challenges is a $10 voucher to spend at Mystical Scrapbooks.

There are three fun challenges this month; A sketch, A recipe and A Blind Scrap.

Our Design Team have provided some beautiful samples to help inspire you to Bust your Stash;

Trudie Campbell has put together this fun layout all about her son and his “OUCH” accident with the rose bush. Trudie has put together her layout using the recipe ingredients in her challenge.

Tracey Campbell’s layout shows her cheeky lovely daughter and what joy she brings to their family. Tracey has put together a sketch and a list to challenge you all to use up those left over pieces of scraps.

Donna Cope is doing a step by step Blind Scrap, she has posted a list of materials that you will need to gather together and have ready for the next instructions. This exciting Blind scrapping is sure to get the blood pumping. We can’t show Donna’s sample just yet as that would give it all away…but stay tuned for a look later in the week.
